HOW TO CLEAR BIOS MEMORY:

·         Three alternatives  depending on the type of motherboard
a)      Enter BIOS setup and change the settings to Power-On Defaults.
b)      Disconnect the CMOS Battery and re-insert it.
c)       Insert appropriate jumper and wait until BIOS memory is cleared (See motherboard documentation) the jumper is often located near the CMOS Battery.
Sometimes this is possible with DIP switches on the motherboard, sometime (if not) you will have to remove the battery, and sometimes (if no DIP’s or no removable battery, and not wiling to desolder the battery), you can short the battery with a resistor to lower the current available for the CMOS.
