The Task Manager is disable and not possible to view , normally this happens due to virus or Trojan infection. so the first thing to do is to update antivirus and thoroughly scan the system, when the system is clean follow the steps listed below to bring back the Task Manager.
1. Go to Start then click Run
2. Type gpedit.msc in the box and press enter.
3. Go to User Configuration then Administrative Templates and then click System
4. Click on Ctrl+Alt+Del Options
5. Double-click Remove Task Manager and set it to Disabled
6. Click Ok
7. Restart the computer
If Windows doesn't have gpedit.msc option this can be done by tweaking the Registry but if not familiar take guidance from the experience as tweaking Registry is Risky.
- Go to Start and then click Run
- Type regedit and press enter.
- Click HKEY_CURRENT_USER
- Go to Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
- Click DisableTaskMgr
Wow this is amazing!!! nice info...
