WHAT IS BSOD? WHAT ARE THE CAUSES?


BSOD is the short form for Blue Screen Of Death.  This is one of the most dreaded error message for windows users which suddenly pops up informing the users that something is seriously wrong with windows which means windows has crashed and needed to reboot to recover windows.
BSOD generally associated with the following problems :
  • 1.      Software or Device driver problems
  • 2.       Malfunctioning of hardware device which does not fully support windows.
  • 3.      Outdated or older BIOS information can also cause errors.
  • 4.      Hardware or hard disk errors during installation of windows.
  • 5.      Corrupted startup files, hardware and driver software during windows startup can also be the cause.
  • 6.      Over heating of Processor.
  • 7.      A defective memory system/ module.
  • 8.      A dead hard disk (read/write errors)
  • 9.      Faulty software or device drivers.
