HOW TO CUSTOMIZE THE MOUSE IN WINDOWS 7:
* Click Start and then click Control Panel.             
* In Category view, click Hardware And Sound
* Under Devices And Printers
* Click Mouse.
*  Click Properties
* If you want to use the mouse with your left hand, click Switch Primary And Secondary Buttons.
 * Adjust the speed of double click by dragging  the Speed slider.
*  Select the options you want to use on the Buttons , Pointer Options, Wheel , and  Hardware tabs.
*  If you want to change the way the pointer looks, select a different scheme
 * Click  OK.

HOW TO Customize the Keyboard
 1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
 2. In Category view, click Large  or  Small Icons view, and then click Keyboard.
3. Click the text box in the middle of the dialog box, and press a character key to see how
     long you wait before the key is repeated and how fast the repeated character appears.
 4. Drag the Repeat Delay slider in the direction desired, and then test the repetition again.
 5. Drag the Repeat Rate  slider in the direction desired, and then test the repetition again.
 6. Drag the Cursor Blink Rate slider in the direction desired, and observe the blink rate.
 7. When you have set up the keyboard the way you want.
8.  Click OK.
