HOW TO CREATE RESTORE POINTS IN WINDOWS 7

A restore point is an identifiable point in time when you know your system was working correctly. If your computer’s settings are saved at that point, you can use those settings to restore your computer to that time. Normally, Windows 7 automatically creates restore points for the system drive on a periodic basis.
System Restore returns the system to a previous time when it was functioning normally and need at least 300MB space.
1.       Click Start and then Control Panel.
2.        In Category view, click System And Security,
3.       In any view click System, and then click  System Protection  in the left pane.
4.       Click Create and type a name for the restore point. The date and time are automatically added, and you cannot change the name once you create it.
5.       Click Create again. You will be inform when the restore point is created.
6.       Click OK
7.       Click  Close  to close the System Properties dialog box.
