HOW  TO Use the Action Center

The Windows Action Center contains messages that have been sent to you from Windows and other programs that, at least from the viewpoint of the program, you need to respond to. When a message

is sent to you by a program, a flag with a red X appears in the notification area.

1. Click Open Action Center to review recent messages and resolve problems

 2. Click the relevant item to address the issue, and when you are ready,
3. Close the Action Center.

HOW TO CHANGE ACTION CENTER SETTINGS

*Open Action Center

*  From the Action Center, click Change Action Center Settings.

* Select the security and maintenance messages you want to see. Open any of the related settings that
     seem pertinent.

* When your Action Center settings are the way you want them, click OK

 * Close the Action Center.
